This set of resources is all about syllable division. Over 50 pages of resources!
MONSTER SORT – A fun way to reinforce the teaching of open/closed syllables. All the
instructions are included. There are a variety of words, so not all closed syllables are just cvc
words, likewise not all open syllables are cv words.
CLOSE THE DOOR GAME – A matching game where players attempt to close the door to win the
word.
SYLLABLE DIVISION WORD CARDS – over 160 cards, using a variety of different types of syllables,
to practice reading multisyllabic words. Each card comes with a graphic to easily sort cards. Also
includes the labels for the box for easy storage and sorting.
